Intergroup is in search of a Newsletter Editor, to gather, collect, receive, and assemble pertinent information for groups in Zone 1. This is a missing backbone to our membership body. Please step up if you have skills for this job or know someone who does.
There is also a need for Hotline Volunteers. Calls can be transferred to your phone line so that when the call for help comes, someone is there to take the call. You can be of vital service from right where you are with the freedom to be of service from wherever you can take a call! Your number will never be seen. The Intergroup Hotline number is transferred to your phone line when it is your shift. Pretty simple. Most calls are directing the caller on where and when the next and nearest meeting is. You can always take their number and call someone to return the call if the caller wants more information than you can provide. So who wants to SAVE A LIFE ?
Last but certainly not least. We currently have the Thursday shift from 10am - 2pm open for a Central Office Volunteer. This position ranges from the Maytag repairman to the Walmart cashier on Thanksgiving eve. NO, seriously, it is selling our literature to our group representatives and individual members. This would be a great opportunity to bring that sponsee with you.
